What begun as a passion project turned into a multitude of differing variations and designs of The Beast, inspired by Disney’s Beauty and The Beast.

Taking inspiration from both the animated film and the Broadway musical, each design is unique. Variations of facial prosthetics, horn creation, and article construction were utilized for each design.

The Beast

This variation is inspired by the song/scene “If I Can’t Love Her” from Disney’s musical adaptation of Beauty and The Beast. In this finale to Act I, The Beast has scared Belle away and laments from his tower balcony, describing his despair and hopelessness of ending the curse placed on him. With billowing, dramatic cape and horrifying fangs and snout, Beast accepts his decided fate and cries into the night.

Act I

Prince Adam’s costume takes pieces from Beast in his more human form. With the same blue vevet and champagne gold accents, this prince shines through in both forms.
